Facebook Moderator
DSDN is seeking additional members of our support team. This is a volunteer position responsible for moderating one (or more) of our DSDN Facebook pages. Our support team is the lifeline of our mission to inform, connect and support new families with a Down syndrome diagnosis as we connect regularly with members. Once selected to be a moderator, you will be trained and have ongoing support to manage your Facebook group(s). (Aprox. 2 hrs/wk)
Duties include:

Participating frequently in our online groups to:

Keep the board active so that parents know this is place they can come and get support, feedback, responses.

Remember that a parent’s journey is not exactly like any other parent’s journey. The road to acceptance and moving forward can be long and twisted. We must meet them where they are.

Know our role is to facilitate and generate conversations.
